This in no way affects my review; all opinions are my own. Before I say anything, I must mention some trigger warnings : rape is one of the main topics, there is excessive use of the f-word, and there are some mild sexual scenes. The main character, Eden, is so incredibly similar to me; it's terrifying. Not in the sense that I was raped I wasn't! I've never read a book with such a similar main character. Because of the uncanny similarities, it was easy-- almost too easy-- to put myself into her shoes. I kept thinking, "This could've been me.
