How do you get rid of dandruff in a horses mane?

Q:My friend has this dandruff its disgusting he was wondering how he can remove it with home remedies or anything else.

First of all do you use any products on your hair as they could be the culprit, also I would not use head and shoulders as it can make your hair thinner. You need a shampoo with coal tar as an ingredient but if it’s just from products, than you just may need to switch products.

A:Dandruff shampoo, duh. Dandruff shampoos have a chemical that kills the bacteria that causes dandruff.

A:Well use Selsun Blue or Head and Shoulders. Wash your hair one day yes one day no and so on. Also when you wash your hair don’t claw your nails in your scalp, be gentle, use your fingertips, not your nails

A:The only shampoo that works is Neutrogena T Gel. See a dermatologist if you are still having problems. You could have psoriasis.

A:maybe a deep conditioning treatment would help…that will help keep your scalp moisturized…i hope i helped in some way =)

A:You need to ask the pharmacist. He or she will recommend a shampoo that will work for you. Or, ask the beautician or barber. They are all trained to know this stuff.

A:theres a shampoo you have to get from a doctor. its called nizoral and it smells funky, but just spray your hair with cologne or perfume after you wash and style your hair.
