The last summer before a college is always fun. But, at the same time, it is a very responsible stage for every student as it requires some decent college preparation and self-education. As a rule, during the summer before their freshman year, college bound students are getting everything ready for the next stage of their life, moving out from their homes, and try to improve their knowledge before the start of the semester. Several years ago The College Board released a list of books they recommended all college-bound students should read. I remember saving this list and I've since shared it and printed it out many times. However, looking up every book can be a painful process. So we've assembled the list and included direct links to Amazon, World Cat library locator , and even an Amazon Kindle search. Some of the books also include a Lexile text measure. This was a detail worth including.
