Poor reviews and the worst box office result of the entire series was probably not what Warner Bros was expecting when it planned a five-movie series for Fantastic Beasts, so will we end up getting all five films? At the moment, it seems that way as Warner Bros is confident that it knows how to make the third movie a success, with Rowling having an "incredible vision of where she wants to go" with the whole series. But what do we know about the future now? And how did The Crimes of Grindelwald set it up? For a while, it seemed like Fantastic Beasts 3 would follow the two-year release pattern and arrive in cinemas on November 20, This date was never set in stone though and when production was pushed back by Warner Bros , we knew that wasn't going to happen for the threequel.

It should not prove too surprising to anyone familiar with the publishing industry that, in a year that saw two new Harry Potter titles published, one of them would top the print bestseller list. The only surprise here is that, unlike previous titles, the latest from author J. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts 1 and 2 , is not a novel but a play and was penned in conjunction with coauthors—the theater director John Tiffany and the screenwriter and playwright Jack Thorne. The script, published on July 31 last year, moved nearly 4. The book was a favorite among indie booksellers, in spite of its meager first printing of 6, copies.
