Difference between book and computer
Computer vs. Books Essay - Words | CramInternet and books are two very comparable terms as both provide valuable information, but vastly differ when we compare the time taken to provide the information by the two. Before the internet was available to us books were the only source we turned to for any bit of information, we used to flock to the library and searched for the book that contained relevant information. It is now thing of past to go to library as the whole library is now at our finger tips in the form of internet. One marvels at the amount of information and speed with which one can get information regarding anything. Both internet and books are two very different sources but earlier generation still prefer to read books and like to collect them as souvenir.
Difference Between Internet and Books
As the authors observe, there are reasons for both formats to endure. But I do not share the view of Richard C. Hsu and William E. Mitchell, the authors of one of the articles, that computer word-search programs are clearly superior to the index of a book. A well-constructed book index presents the reader with pointers to the most significant material covered in the book. Because these terms are selected by human indexers, using the vocabulary of the book's author as a guide, they will most nearly match the usage of that subject field. On the other hand, a full text search of a large document or data base is usually superior to a book index only for precise key words and for specific information that might not be covered in the book index.
Book are better than computers because books you could carry any where and computers you can not you need to have internet. Books you can not charge and computers or lap top you have charge. Computers could give you headaches because of the constant light going strait to yours eyes. Computers will take along time doing a project because it will not give you the information that you want and books will not take along time because it could give you information and they are true. Books can be confusing since it only appeals to the sense of sight in black and white and only a few times colored. Even tho computers uses the sense of sight, the sense of hearing and touch is also present. This helps interest people of different age group since it makes basic interactions between people and computers.

Tablets vs Textbooks Tablets are not only more efficient; they are all around better than textbooks. Should schools have personal work tablets? We all should, be allowed to have their own personal tablets for work, assignments, check updated due dates, etc.
We have all seen the newspaper headlines: screens make us read slower, learn less deeply, remember less and sleep worse. Is this why students prefer to print out their electronic textbooks? We suspected it was habit and attitude rather than measurable cognitive effort during reading that made people prefer print texts, but we needed evidence. Habit and attitude appeared to be important, and a digitally born textbook is by far the best alternative to a print textbook when it comes to studying. But even those who prefer to read on screens are originally native paper readers, and as long as the existing application interfaces cannot address the shortcomings of screens regarding spatial landmarks, we will keep returning to paper under certain circumstances. We would like to see developers make more user-friendly e-readers, and authors and publishers learn to fully utilize of the potential of the e-book. This project led to another seminar about the difference between reading on screen and on paper.
